L&G are one of the largest and highly respected organisations in Europe - Presentation and meeting environments are an important communication facility for them. When they decided to re-furbish the Boardroom and meeting facilities PresComm were selected to provide advice and expertise to deliver a state of the art, integrated presentation solution.

Working closely with the users, the final specification offered very high quality systems, designed to enable a wide range of media to be used, but with a simple and user friendly control interface.

Two rear projection systems were installed incorporating fresnel lens projection screens and high brightness Proxima LCD projectors. Source media such as VHS and U-matic video tapes are integrated within the front wall for ease of access and a number of PC connection points are available throughout the rooms. DST are ranked among the top 5 largest software companies in the world and provide financial management systems for corporate organisations of all sizes. PresComm were asked to review the presentation requirements for DST and recommend suitable systems for integration throughout the 4th floor conference suite.

PresComm responded with a comprehensive design solution involving a main rear projection joinery "media" wall and a number of integrated plasma display systems for the smaller presentation rooms. Plasma displays are the ideal solution in this instance, combining bright crisp images with a high tech feel perfect for showcasing DST's software based products. The custom joinery items designed by PresComm blend in with the room décor and provide a pleasing feel to the areas. A number of custom cabinets have been provided which can be used as stand alone items with small groups or integrated with the presentation systems as required. The rooms are equipped with Crestron wireless touch screen control panels providing simple and effective operation of the projector, plasma screen, VHS, DVD, motorised curtains and lighting dimming systems.

EMI Records based in Hammersmith have a number of presentation and display facilities within their headquarters building. PresComm have secured the ongoing Maintenance and service contract for all these areas and also provide on going support services for important events thoughout the year.

Perhaps the most impressive facility is the massive floor to ceiling rear projected display feature within EMI's reception area. This provides a striking focus for the area and allows EMI to showcase the recent work of their many music clients.
