Cinema Applications

Invisible
Loudspeakers
Completely
flat loudspeakers that can be hung on the wall like pictures - and
sound fantastic. You have never heard or seen anything like this
before. These units called "Loudpanels" use NXT technology
to create an amazing sound.
The
technology is relatively new and utilises 'bendy waves' in the production
of the sound. This is the same principle a Piano uses, with the
strings setting up waves in a sound board, the LoudPanels bend and
flex very slightly, the wave being produced by carefully positioned
exciters.
There are a number of features unique to this technology which makes
them particularly attractive when compared to traditional loudspeakers.
They do not have to be perfectly positioned in the room, they work
very well in strange shaped rooms without the interference patterns
usually associated with speakers. This is because the waves produced
are incoherent (not in phase).
In the same way as a piano can fill a huge concert hall with sound,
the LoudPanels produce a consistent volume in a larger area. Because
the sound is produced across the surface, it dies off in a linear
fashion, rather than exponentially as does a conventional speaker.
Now in second generation form, the system comes complete with dual
voice coil sub-woofer, and brand new exciters driving the panels.

Speech reinforcement
systems
 When
we design large Conference or Boardrooms, it is usually desirable
to include some form of speech enhancement or reinforcement within
the room.
This is achieved using a matrix of microphones either table or ceiling
mounted which pick up the speech and feed it through a series of
ceiling mounted loudspeakers. The issue here is to eliminate the
problem of feedback or howl-round associated with such systems.

listening system that meets your need to provide communication accessibility
and comply with the UK Disabilities discrimination Act (1995).

compared to FM and infrared systems Induction loop hearing assistance
systems are both cost-effective and unobtrusive. Unlike FM systems,
induction loop systems are easy to maintain and are compatible with
telecoil-equipped (T position) hearing aids - already owned by many
hard of hearing people - so you don't need receivers or headphones
for each hearing impaired individual.
